We are a 501c3 non-profit task force that provides local support to our community through a comprehensive approach.

We are a victim-centered & trauma-informed group of trained community individuals that understand the need to aid victims of trafficking, to train the community, to provide prevention work, and assist with intervention.

September 2022

Emmaus Road Community Church Outreach Program

It was agreed upon that  Emmaus Road Community Church would redirect their multiple outreach programs into one target; Anti-Human Trafficking.

Pastor Jason Ricks had on his heart for years the desire to support and defend the innocent against this epidemic. With guidance from a national leader in the combatting of human trafficking, and friend, Ashleigh Chapman; Jason and Outreach Director Justin Scott began the journey. 

October 2022

Uprising Basic Human Trafficking Training - Laramie

On Oct. 6th a small group of community members met at the Big Brothers & Big Sister Conference room for a basic introductory class on Human Trafficking hosted by Uprising. Jason and Heather Ricks, Justin Scott, Ashleigh Chapman, and McKaylin Malles were in attendance. After this event, Justin Scott began preparing and organizing for a winter/spring campaign of 2023 to organize, with a target of raising awareness, hosting trainings, and community collaboration.
